AGE: 16, aged up to 18. Amy is rather mature for her age in a long of ways. Although she goes along with Karma’s plan to lie to everyone about being lesbians she is often unsure about it and seems to wrestle with the implications of their deception more than her friend does. What starts out as a lie ends up with Amy coming to some realizations about herself – mainly that she’s not straight (though what she is she’s not sure of yet either) and that she has romantic feelings for her best friend Karma. When she confesses it blows up in her face and she sleeps with Liam in revenge. She regrets this deeply and fears it’ll ruin her friendship with Karma – something she holds dearer than anything else. In the time she’s coming to Eudio she’ll have had her first real relationship with Reagan – and her first real breakup as well. Amy is the kind of person who tries to make the people around her happy – like lying about being lesbians with Karma, or lying about possibly being bisexual to Reagan. She’s still learning how to simply be herself and be happy with that.

INCENTIVE: She’s just discovered her mother is having an affair with her father. She likes the home she’s had created with her mother, stepfather and even stepsister Lauren so she’d ask for the affair not to happen.

Amy is at a point in her life where she's trying to figure out who she is. She refuses to label herself -- while she leans more towards girls she is attracted to men sometimes, and she's not sure what that means for her. In many ways she would see Eudio as a place where she explore herself and make more sense of what she wants in a relationship. Because the place encourages physical content between people, and everyone is consenting to be there, it seems like a better place to truly experiment than her normal high school environment. She could be more upfront about what she's experiencing and what she wants. She's a very affectionate person in general. She hugs her friends, cuddles, etc. She's had sex with boy a guy and girl before (though not at the same, though that almost happened) and enjoyed both. The last thing she wants to do is hurt anyone with her confusion like she did Reagan. But she doesn't want to be forced into a box or label just yet either. The freedom of Eudio would allow her to explore herself more and with less fear. It could end up being a really good growing experience for herself. She's not always great with meeting new people so it'd force her out of her comfort zone a little, challenge her.

[So this is Eudio. It's almost as open and radical of an environment as Hester. Maybe even more radical. She's not going to lie -- the promise of a place where she explore herself better was tempting. She's been confused about herself for so long. She thought she just liked girls -- but she's not so sure. Maybe she can find out.

Everyone is invited to a meet and greet. Amy is unsure but decides to ultimately go. If Shane were here he'd be telling her to go, to mingle and find hot girls or guys to make out with. The thought makes her smile a little. She misses her friend already. But if this can save her mom and stepdad's marriage than she'll do it. She's done a lot worse to keep people she cares about happy.

She decides on a suit to wear for the party. It seems like the most comfortable choice in the end. She lingers at the sidelines, unsure of what to do now. She's never been great at parties -- it's much more Karma's thing. She'd rather be home watching Netflix or something.

And then she sees someone coming with a drink tray and she grabs one a glass of something, drinking it down almost immediately. ]

I think I'm going to need a few more of these before the night is done.

[She wishes more than anything that Karma was here with her -- it would make things a little easier, a little more natural. But this is something she has to do on her own, without her best friend.
